A feast for the eyes and other things.

This blog is going to, hopefully, be photos and other bits and pieces I have taken or made or whatever, and/or maybe found or borrowed or whatever.


So here are a few pics to start off with, and as this is the internet I'm starting with a picture of a cat.

This is our cat, George, sitting on the sofa watching TV. Very much a manly cat :-)

This is how George likes to sit with me, so we can watch TV together.

I used to have a phone a while ago that had a very strange camera, the shutter speed was so odd that if I moved the phone after pressing the camera button to take a picture it created some great effects such as these below.

Then one day I discovered that the phone altered the way moving images looked, so I started taking pictures of cars going along the road as I stood by the side of it and got images like this on of a taxi

After studying some of the pictures of cars, like the one above, I noticed that while the cars on the far side of the road were going in the correct direction (from left to right), the phone changed the direction of the cars on the same side as me so that instead of going in the opposite direction to the other cars they appeared to be going in the same direction. you can just see the evidence of this above, I also notived that any writing came out backwards, like in this picture

I promise you this is not something I did after taking the picture by making changes on the computer, and to prove it here is the only picture I managed to get with both forwards and backwards writing in the same picture
